The first three were of wooden construction, from then on it was GRP, except for 52-030 Snolda which was constructed of steel and considered by many to be the best of class.
Built By VT Halmatic and finished by either Berthon Boat Company (BBC), Fairey Marine (FM) or William Osborne (WO).
